Peyton Guidry Commits to UT Dallas

TTi Soccer member Peyton Guidry has been fortunate enough to commit to UT Dallas.

“Peyton is serious about her football, but what leads her is her ability to learn and apply in a quick manner. Peyton is deliberate and purposeful in her play and is a force aerially.” Said TTI Sporting Director, Lee Cullip

The Comets compete in the American Southwest Conference in NCAA Division III. The young center back will join in 2019.

The talented center back plays her football for Albion Hurricanes ECNL Program. Peyton will see out her youth career now preparing for the vigors of college soccer.

Kanute Drugan, UT Dallas Head Coach spoke fondly and at length of Peyton ”I am truly excited to have Peyton Guidry join our UT Dallas women’s soccer program! As a center back, Peyton fits our 3 back system perfectly. Not only is she good winning balls out of the air, she is skilled with the ball at her feet. She can help relieve pressure at the point of attack, playing possession, and switching the point of attack. In possession, she makes good decisions and connects the easy pass. She also demonstrates an ability to carry to initiate an attack” Kanute continued “Peyton is a marvelous fit for our UT Dallas women’s soccer culture. She takes pride in herself as a student, as an athlete, and as a member of our UT Dallas community. She is a leader. She has her priorities in order.  She has goals for herself as a student, as an athlete, and as a young woman. Peyton Guidry is a class woman joining a class program at UT Dallas” he concluded.
