The College Process can be confusing and seem like a pathway laden with traps! Finding the perfect fit is difficult, but not impossible. I have always maintained that academics, climate, ease of travel and the geography should play a larger part of the process. There is little point of the full ride in Minnesota if you do not like the cold!


Also, if you know a college athlete – Talk to them! Their insight will be great use for you!

    • TTi Soccer College ID Camp (Dec 7/8th)

  3. Become familiar with the NCAA/NAIA

  4. Study, Study, Study!

    • Academics 1st Approach!

  5. Discover What You Want Out of College Soccer

    • Athletic/Academic Balance, Geographic Preference, Study Abroad, Social Elements, Plane Ride Away?

  6. Compile a List of Schools

    • Sophomore Year – Broad List, Rank by Interest

    • Junior Year – List at 5-6 Colleges, Visit the Campuses

    • Senior Year – 3-4 Schools on List (COMMIT)!

  7. Create a Video

    • Show Your Best, Be Identifiable, Set Up a YouTube Channel

  8. Be a Student of College Soccer

    • Watch College Soccer LIVE & on TV

  9. ASK Questions

    • Ask your staff, College players (Past & Present), High School Counselors, College Coaches
