Most clubs measure players. We get to know them.

Most clubs measure players. We get to know them.

Height. Speed. Rankings. Statistics. Those things have their place.

But they don’t tell you who arrives early to help set up.
Who encourages teammates after mistakes.
Who quietly leads by example.
Who needs an extra conversation after a difficult week.
Who dreams of playing professionally.
Who simply loves being around the game.

Before players become prospects, they are people.
And if you truly want to develop young footballers, you have to know more than their position and their scoreline.

You have to know them.
