Last night, this came together at training.

Leadership isn't always measured by the number of games you play. Sometimes it's measured by the people you inspire.

This photo means a great deal to me.

Pictured are the three captains who have helped shape Houston Bluebonnets.

Jade was our first-ever Club Captain. She believed in the project before there really was one. She worked relentlessly, led with humility, and set a standard that everyone else could follow. Today she's living in Rome, fresh from winning the Coppa Italia, but she'll always be our first captain.

Then came Allie Wilson, now playing in England with Chester FC. Allie led differently. Her intensity in training, her competitive edge, and the way she connected with our younger players made an enormous impact on our club. She helped create a culture where every player felt they belonged.

Those foundations made it possible to hand the armband to Camryn. Even as one of our younger players, she possesses qualities that remind me of both Jade and Allie. She leads with consistency, care, and an unwavering commitment to her teammates.

The truth is, without these three, there may never have been a Houston Bluebonnets.

When others chased the next acronym or the newest badge, they stayed. They believed. They helped build something from the ground up.

What makes me happiest isn't where football has taken them. It's that they still come back. They still train with us. They still make time for the next generation.

That, to me, is what a football club should be.
